"Rượu mơ" celebrates the tender sentiment behind a simple homemade drink—plum wine. Sweet, smooth, and easy to enjoy, this traditional infusion is often crafted by fathers at home, treated like a quiet luxury.
Calling a daughter “bình rượu mơ của bố” (dad’s jar of plum wine) is a way of saying she is cherished and treasured. Just like that fragrant jar kept with pride, a daughter is someone sweet and irreplaceable—always held close to the heart.
And when we say “gái rượu”, we mean a daughter so precious, she’s like a rare vintage—aged with care, valued beyond words. A father’s pride, his most treasured spirit.
