Our Story

The story begins with Nhichancanh (aka Nhi) – a lover of craftsmanship and someone deeply fascinated by the values born from human hands. Nhi graduated from the Hanoi University of Architecture in 2023, and later founded Leap And Linger in 2024, driven by a growing curiosity: “Why are such refined forms of craftsmanship like printmaking, linocut, ceramic jewelry, batik painting, indigo dyeing, and so many others, still not widely known?” At that time in Hanoi, workshops about these crafts and art in general were extremely rare. Online resources were mostly in English, and though Vietnamese materials existed, they were mainly used in academic or formal training environments. So, where could someone simply curious begin? That very absence inspired Nhichancanh to create a place where art could be touched, seen, and lived in everyday life. 🇻🇳

We hope that anyone who comes to Leap And Linger whether an artist, a craftsman, or a visitor will get to experience art in a gentle and familiar way. To us, art was never meant to be “useful” like a tool, but something that helps us understand ourselves and the world a little better, a little deeper. It is the moment when beauty feels effortless, and we remember how simple it is to be moved.
