LEAP AND LINGER was founded in 2024 by Nhichancanh, an admirer of handmade art and a devotee of the values born from human touch. Graduating from Hanoi University of Architecture in 2023, Nhichancanh began with a small curiosity: “Why are refined forms of craft such as printmaking, linocut, ceramic jewelry, wax-resist painting, or indigo dyeing still not widely known?” Moreover, in Hanoi, workshops on these crafts and on art in general were almost nonexistent at that time. Most resources online were in English; Vietnamese materials existed but were limited to schools or formal institutions. So, where could someone begin if they simply wanted to explore? That absence sparked a desire in Nhichancanh to create a place where handmade art could be touched, seen, and lived in everyday life. Leap And Linger is not just a brand. Nhichancanh envisions it as a young Vietnamese craft art community. Here, every artist can showcase their work as in an online gallery, where prints, handmade editions, ceramic jewelry, sculptures, or any form of art are retold through the love of color, material, emotion, and the breath of Vietnam.
