"Spicy" is the print version of each chili sauce bottle from the artwork "9 Spur". "9 Spur" and "Spicy" are both inspired by the Chinsu chili sauce bottle when the artist was in a creative block, with the bottle transformed using images and Đông Sơn drum motifs, the entire body of the bottle being referenced from Vietnamese Đông Sơn bronze drums.

The inscriptions on the bottle belong to the story of Sơn Tinh - Thủy Tinh. The Nine-Spurred Rooster is one of the wedding tributes that King Hùng demanded in order to marry Mỵ Nương, along with the Nine-Tusked Elephant and the Nine-Red-Mane Horse. The Nine-Spurred Rooster, or multi-spurred chicken, is a Vietnamese breed distinguished by its multiple spurs. This type of chicken is bred in Lạng Sơn and Phú Thọ.
