Carambolier d’or massif (Edition with 24K Gold) - Porcelain Ring is inspired by The Starfruit Tree, a beloved Vietnamese folktale.

The story tells of two brothers. After their parents passed away, the greedy older brother took all the inheritance, leaving the younger one with only a tiny hut and an old starfruit tree. Instead of complaining, the younger couple happily tended the tree, waiting for its fruit to ripen. One day, a giant bird came to eat the fruit. When the younger brother tried to chase it away, the bird said: "One fruit, one gold nugget. Sew a three-span bag, and bring it along."

Though puzzled, they prepared a three-span bag and followed the bird’s instructions. True to its word, the bird brought them back just enough gold to fill the bag.

When the older brother heard the tale, he demanded the tree in exchange for his previous share. He sewed a ten-span bag, followed the bird, and greedy for more gold stuffed the bag to bursting. But the bird couldn't handle the weight, and the older brother tumbled into the sea.
